Under supervision, you will assist pharmacists with prescriptions, enter information into pharmacy systems, and help manage inventory. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for accurate prescription filling and cash handling.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control is preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist by entering patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and processing prescriptions.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications, and verify accuracy.
• Provide courteous, friendly checkout service and assist customers with questions and product locations.
• Maintain clean, well-merchandised counters and shelves; check in and price merchandise.
• Assist with phone calls not requiring pharmacist attention and with clerical duties as directed.
• Support pharmacy inventory management and warehouse/stock operations.
• Provide photo area services and web-pickup support as needed.
