Mercy Hospital Logan County in Guthrie, OK is seeking a Registered Nurse (Non-Exempt) for a PRN, flexible hours role in the Med/Surg department. The unit cares for Observation, Inpatient, and Swing patients with a 5:1 patient/nurse ratio.

Shifts vary/rotate and Mercy provides orientation and ongoing certification training. The position requires RN licensure in the hiring state or a compact license, ACLS/BLS certification, and the ability to meet unit physical demands.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Licensure: Must maintain current RN license in hiring state/compact.
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds, prolonged standing/walking.
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (or course within 30 days); other dept certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for Observation, Inpatient, and Swing patients.
• Collaborate with Therapy department for coordinated care.
• Maintain safe nurse/patient ratios and high quality return-to-pre-hospitalization lifestyle.
