Job summary

AmeriPharma is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with home infusion expertise to provide in-home infusion therapy and patient education. You will conduct visits, document care, and collaborate with pharmacy teams to ensure safe, effective treatment.

The role requires 2+ years in home infusion, CRNI is preferred, and strong communication and organizational skills. This is a per diem, independent contractor opportunity with flexible hours and travel to patient homes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current RN state license.
• 2+ years of experience in home infusion and infusion centers.
• 2+ years with IV immunoglobulins and IV biologics; CRNI certification is preferred.
• Experience with peripheral IV starts, infusion therapy, and phlebotomy for adults and pediatrics preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in computer skills and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home infusion therapy visits per the plan of care.
• Document nursing notes and interventions in clinical and non-clinical records.
• Act as a clinical resource and collaborate with pharmacy departments.
• Educate patients on therapy protocols, drug side effects, and home infusion procedures.
• Ensure patients understand therapy plans and adherence.
• Serve as a liaison between patient, family, and pharmacy to ensure seamless therapy.
• Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and initiate preventive care.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress and revise care plans as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
