Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking in-home caregivers to provide personal care, homemaking, and companionship for clients in Dade City and Pasco County. You will help with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation coordination while ensuring safety and comfort in the clients’ homes.

Candidates should be compassionate, reliable, and able to work with both male and female clients.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable form of transportation.
• Must be able to work with male and female clients.
• Must be able to pass a Level II Background Check.
• Proof of a Negative TB Screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for the elderly and/or disabled adults in the clients' homes.
• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, toileting, dressing).
• Monitor clients' safety within the home and provide supervision.
• Light housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, laundry, etc.).
• Assist with ambulation, transferring, and transportation to appointments.
• Grocery shopping and assistance with online shopping.
• Meal preparation and companionship.
• Support clients with personal goals and provide medication reminders.

Job duties include:

• Provide care for the elderly and/or disabled adults with developmental disabilities in the privacy of their own homes.
• Personal Care Assistance (must be ok with: bathing, toileting, dressing and personal hygiene)
• Monitor clients safety within the home/Supervision
• Light Housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, laundry, etc.)
• Ambulation and Transferring Assistance
• Transportation - Assist with scheduling a transport to doctor appointments/run errands
• Grocery Shopping / Assisting with online shopping
• Meal Preparation
• Companionship
• Assist with the clients personal goals!
• Provide friendly medication reminders!

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Have reliable form of transportation
• Must be able to work with male and female clients
• Must be able to pass a Level II Background Check
• Proof of a Negative Tuberculosis (TB) Screening
• We have staff on site available to administer a TB Skin test
