Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a customer-focused retail associate to join our California store footprint. You’ll greet customers, assist with product needs, and ensure a smooth checkout experience while maintaining clean, organized counters and shelves.

Role includes handling cash, processing returns, and supporting photo services as well as web pickup orders. Prior retail experience and flexibility for evenings/weekends are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience at checkout and in-store areas.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly checkout service.
• Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains clean, well-merchandised counters and shelves; assists with pricing and stock rotations.
• Provides customer service in the photo area, including passport photos and related services.
• Assists with web pickup orders and delivers orders to customers as they arrive at store.
• Complies with company policies and maintains respectful coworker relationships.
