Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a cashier to provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and assist customers with payments and exchanges at our Illinois locations. You will scan, bag, answer questions, and help maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Responsibilities include assisting customers at self-checkout, managing the cash register, and supporting other departments as needed. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, as are bilingual skills.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting data.
• Minimally lift 75 pounds; team lifts up to 75 pounds.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
