Job summary

KwikFill in Hamburg, NY is seeking a reliable Cashier/Attendant to operate the store, assist customers, and process transactions accurately.

You will greet customers, suggest merchandise, stock shelves, and maintain clean aisles while complying with health and safety rules. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, multitask in a fast-paced retail environment, and work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience to assist and greet customers.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and securely.
• Merchandising and stocking to keep shelves neat and appealing.

Responsibilities

• Offer appropriate customer service.
• Greet all customers with a smile and hello.
• Suggest merchandise purchases to all customers.
• Learn and operate the cash register and additional required equipment with accuracy.
• Price, stock, and face merchandise. Stocking merchandise includes gondolas, shelving, counters, walk-in coolers, upright coolers, and backroom storage areas.
• Manage product storage, maintenance, and rotation activities to avoid any damage or spoilage.
• Maintain the store in accordance with maintenance policies and conform to required Health Department rules and regulations.
• Account for all shift and daily transactions.
• Always present a neat and clean appearance.
• Wears any required work dress code clothing.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager or District Manager.
