Job summary

KwikFill is seeking a reliable Cashier/Attendant to run the store in the absence of management, greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, and handle transactions with accuracy.

You will learn and operate the POS system, stock gondolas and backroom areas, maintain clean shelves, and follow health department rules while presenting a neat appearance. This role may require lifting up to 50 pounds and multi-tasking in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience handling cash and operating a POS system.
• Ability to greet customers and provide friendly service.
• Willingness to stock shelves and maintain store cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Offer appropriate customer service.
• Greet all customers with a smile and hello.
• Suggest merchandise purchases to all customers.
• Learn and operate the cash register and additional required equipment with accuracy.
• Stocking merchandise includes gondolas, shelving, counters, walk-in coolers, upright coolers, and backroom storage areas.
• Manage product storage, maintenance and rotation; lifting up to 50lbs as needed.
• Maintain store according to health department rules and regulations; clean shelves, restrooms, floors.
• Follow security and safety policies; account for all transactions.
• Present a neat and clean appearance; wear required work attire.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store or District Manager.
