Amedisys Home Health Aide role in Maryland is a PRN in-home care position serving Western Baltimore City or Anne Arundel County. You will provide in-home patient care, monitor vital signs, and assist with daily activities to help patients heal where they feel most comfortable.

Competitive pay ranges from $17.00 to $21.00 per hour, with benefits including medical plans, PTO, an HSA, wellness rewards, counseling, a 401(k) match, family support, and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant.
• CNA experience within the last two years.
• Must be able to pass the competency program at the care center.
• Current CPR certification.

Aufgaben

• Obtains temperature, pulse, blood pressure and respiration.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and healthy environment.
• Assists patient with getting in and out of bed, bathing, hygiene, and toileting.
• Prepares and provides and/or assists with meals.
• Performs light homemaking and other environmental services.
• Observes, reports, and documents changes in patient status.
• Reports changes in patient's body functions as indicated.
• Recognizes emergencies and follows emergency procedures per policy.
• Follows infection prevention and safety procedures.
• Follows plan of care for personal care per written instructions.
• Assists patient with prescribed exercises as instructed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Kenntnisse

HHA Certification

Valid Driver's license
