Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare seeks a Home Health Aide (1099 Independent Contractor) to provide in-home care. You will follow care plans, assist with personal hygiene and meals, support mobility, and perform light housekeeping. This role offers flexible scheduling to fit client needs and your availability.

You will report changes to the RN Case Manager and HHA Coordinator, ensuring safe, high-quality care in clients' homes. Training and proper background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of state-mandated training hours, if applicable.
• Basic knowledge of computer and internet-based applications for charting.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Compassionate and professional demeanor, with safe working knowledge of client-based equipment.
• Must pass a criminal background check and provide evidence of health status that does not pose a risk to clients or other caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Follow care plans to provide safe and competent care.
