Job summary

FirstLight Home Care of West Suburban Boston is seeking dedicated caregivers to help seniors stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home. You will provide personal care, companionship, meal preparation, and light-household tasks while maintaining clear communication with families and care plans.

We offer flexible shifts with long-day and short-day options, per diem scheduling, paid training, and ongoing development in a supportive, caring team environment where your contribution is valued

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience (family or professional).
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable nature.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• CPR/First Aid and CNA/HHA certifications are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Help seniors stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home by providing personal care and mobility support.
• Offer warm companionship and uplifting conversation.
• Prepare meals and assist with light household tasks.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Transport to appointments or errands.
• Communicate clearly and document care plans.
