Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Six months experience as a Personal Care Assistant.
• Completion of state-approved Nurse Aide or PCA course.
• CPR certificate recommended.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Valid driver's license and insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients.
• Assist clients with ambulation.
• Prevent client falls through safety and supervision.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Prepare and cook meals for clients.
• Drive clients to appointments and errands.
• Light housekeeping.
• Support nutritional needs.
• Perform homemaking tasks (vacuum, dust, wash, etc.).
