Job summary

Nurse Next Door Fresno North is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors in their homes. You will perform meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship and personal care, following each client’s care plan created by the Care Designer.

We offer flexible schedules and the opportunity for growth with on-boarding and training, plus 24-hour support. All positions are in-person, with full-time or part-time options and starting pay at $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Home Care Aide certification is required or employer can assist with obtaining.
• Background or Criminal Record Check (less than 1 year old).
• Negative TB skin test (less than 2 years old).
• Two professional references.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care.
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Help clients with their ADLs within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.
• Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
