Job summary

Care Planning Institute, Inc is seeking a Personal Care Aide to assist an elderly male Veteran at home in Hayden, ID. This is a long-term, 9-hour-per-week position with a flexible schedule.

Pay is $29 per hour ($25 base plus a $4 bonus) for shifts kept as agreed. Training is provided, and a background check is performed.

A TB screening is required; TB tests can be obtained at the county health department or CVS Minute Clinic, with reimbursement on the first paycheck if you keep the receipt.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver required.
• Background check will be performed.
• TB skin test required if not recently tested.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and walking to help the client stay independent at home.
• Provide support per the client’s needs and maintain safety during daily activities.
• Follow the agreed-upon schedule; long-term, 9 hours per week with flexible timing.
