Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking Child Development Specialists to provide home-based early intervention services for infants to three years old and their families across California.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred/required (for Orange County only) in child development, early childhood, teaching or related field OR a special education teaching credential
• Early Intervention Experience Preferred
• Home-Based Service Delivery Experience Preferred
• Strong Interpersonal Skills

Responsabilités

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide child development services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to reach developmental goals
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregivers’ confidence and ensure progress is generalized
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, homes, daycare centers and community settings
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual)
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with HIPAA and/or state/federal regulations
