Qualifications

• Must be organized and able to handle the stress of a busy GI lab.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse and center policy.
• Efficiently and effectively assists physician with procedures.
• Anticipates physicians’ needs before and during procedures.
• Meets patients and families learning needs per the plan of care.
• Provides interventions related to safety issues.
• Demonstrates knowledge and competence of designated skills.
• Cleans and maintains endoscopy equipment properly.
• Maintains inventory and adheres to aseptic techniques.
