Job summary

Sevita's NeuroRestorative division in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support multiple facilities. The role offers 32+ hours per week, no weekends, and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, paid time off, holidays, and a 401k with company match.

The PTA will administer PT treatments under supervision, document sessions, perform various therapies, and train participants in gait and functional activities across community settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current PTA license in the state of work.
• Good working knowledge of physical therapy equipment and therapeutic exercise treatments.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy treatments under supervision and as an assistant to the Physical Therapists.
• Document therapy sessions and attendance.
• Perform active, passive, and/or resistive therapeutic exercises.
• Perform therapeutic massage as needed.
• Provide gait training and instruction for assistive devices.
• Instruct, motivate, and assist participants in improving functional activities.
• Measure ROM, assess vitals, and assist evaluation as needed.
• Ensure adherence to accreditation and confidentiality.
