Job summary

CHEF’STORE is seeking a Sales Associate in Hampton, VA to deliver outstanding customer service and assist in multiple departments, including front end, meat/frozen, produce, and dry goods. You will stock shelves, rotate products, and support inventory and pricing tasks.

Flexibility is required to work varying shifts, including early mornings and weekends, and to assist during events and store resets. A strong focus on customer satisfaction is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
• One year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Front end duties including cashiering and assisting customers at checkout.
• Stocking shelves, receiving inventory, and maintaining product freshness.
• Ensure merchandise is properly labeled and price changes supported by leadership.
• Maintain clean, safe store environment and assist in store openings/closings.
• Assist during special events and inventory processes.
