Job summary

FXI is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely and efficiently move materials within our warehouse and production areas. You will load and unload trucks, inspect equipment, maintain inventory records, and follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid forklift certification, and proven experience in a fast-paced environment. You must work with the team, adapt to flexible hours, and participate in ongoing safety training.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator certification/license.
• Proven experience as a forklift operator in warehouse or production.
• Strong knowledge of forklift operation and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate forklifts in narrow aisles and tight spaces.
• Physical strength and stamina for forklift operation.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move materials, products, and equipment within the warehouse or production area.
• Load and unload trucks, stack and store materials in designated areas.
• Perform routine pre and post-operational forklift inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Communicate and coordinate with other team members to ensure the timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement, including quantities, locations, and timestamps.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse or production floor.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures related to forklift operation and safety.
• Participate in training programs to stay updated on forklift operation best practices.
