Job summary

FAR Inspections is seeking independent contractors to perform residential occupancy verifications in Kidder County, North Dakota and surrounding areas. The role is a flexible, per-inspection position with autonomy over routing, schedule, and territory.

Expect brief exterior visits, reporting, and driving as you cover your assigned county. You provide your own equipment (vehicle, smartphone, computer with printer) and must pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Independent contractor status (1099)
• Own reliable vehicle and smartphone
• Computer with internet and printer
• Strong time-management and self-supervision
• Ability to pass a standard background check
• Experience with mobile reporting apps (preferred)
• Ability to travel across Kidder County and surrounding areas

Responsibilities

• Perform residential occupancy verifications (exterior) in assigned territory
• Capture 9+ photos and submit brief reports
• Maintain reliability on territory coverage and deadlines
• Manage routing and schedule within county boundaries
