FAR Inspections is actively seeking an independent contractor to perform residential occupancy verifications in Orangeburg County, South Carolina and surrounding communities. You control your own schedule and route, earning a per-inspection fee as a 1099 contractor.

As a Field Inspector, you will drive the territory, typically spend 5–6 minutes on-site per inspection, and report findings with 9+ photos via mobile apps. Equipment and flexibility are emphasized for reliable daily work.

Qualifications

• Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines without direct supervision.
• Ability to pass a standard background check.
• Flat-Rate Pay: This is a 1099 position where you are paid a set fee for every inspection completed.
• Earning Potential: While pay is per-inspection, efficient contractors typically earn the equivalent of $25–$35 per hour.
