Job summary

FAR Inspections is seeking reliable independent contractors to perform residential occupancy verifications in Hardeman County and surrounding communities. You will manage your own routing, schedule and territory as a 1099 field inspector, and you decide when you work.

Inspections are quick exterior checks with 5–6 minutes on-site, and you will return photos and reports via mobile apps. Compensation is per inspection, with typical earnings around $25–$35 per hour when volumes are steady;

Qualifications

• Pass a standard background check.
• Provide reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle and smartphone (Android or iPhone).
• Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines without direct supervision.
• Computer with internet and a printer; access to mobile reporting apps.

Responsibilities

• Determine property occupancy status based on industry-standard indicators.
• Capture 9+ photos and submit brief reports using industry-standard mobile applications.
• Maintain reliability regarding territory coverage and deadlines.
