Job summary

SpecPro Professional Services, LLC is looking for an authorized Biologist to support operations at Ft. Irwin, California. Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in environmental consulting and terrestrial biology.
• Experience conducting surveys and monitoring wildlife species.
• Valid recovery USFWS permits for listed species.

Responsibilities

• Conduct terrestrial biological monitoring for construction and restoration projects.
• Perform biological surveys including tortoise surveys.
• Manage workload and coordinate schedules with project managers.

Skills

Bachelor's degree in biology, environmental science, or related field

Minimum 2 years of professional terrestrial biology experience

Experience with Mojave Desert Tortoise

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office365 or similar software

Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record

Education
