Job summary

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Endocrinologist to join our outpatient endocrinology team in Sacramento and Roseville, California. This per diem, outpatient position offers a flexible schedule with 1-2 days per week and no call responsibilities.

Responsibilities include managing diabetes and urgent endocrine consults, reviewing insulin pump therapy, and providing timely episodic care within a collaborative clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Board eligible/Board certified in Endocrinology.
• Outpatient endocrinology experience preferred.
• Per diem, non-benefited position; flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage diabetes patients including insulin pump management.
• Handle urgent endocrine consults and STAT medication refills.
• Provide timely, episodic endocrine care; evaluate and stabilize patients.
• Limit in-basket work and coordinate with clinic staff.
