Job summary

CompHealth invites Emergency Medicine physicians to join a brand-new micro-hospital facility in Wisconsin Rapids, less than two hours north of Madison. The ED handles an annual census of 7,000 with about 31 lower-acuity visits daily, and features onsite CT, general X-ray, portable ultrasound, and point-of-care lab testing.

Inpatient support comes from hospitalist NPs with remote tele-hospitalist MD backup. Flexible scheduling options include 6 shifts of 24 hours or 11 shifts of 12 hours, and

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine physicians encouraged to apply.
• DEA license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Emergency Department care in a brand-new micro-hospital facility in Wisconsin Rapids.
