Job summary

ASG Home Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in New Jersey to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will work one-on-one with clients, following individualized service plans, and promote independence and community engagement.

The role offers flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, and per-diem), local cases across New Jersey, and competitive pay based on experience and case needs. Training and onboarding are provided.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated empathy and care for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication with clients, families, and staff.
• Reliable and punctual to support consistent scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one supports and community-based services as part of ISPs.
• Assist with daily living tasks (meal prep, hygiene, routines).
• Support community integration, outings, and appointments.
• Encourage independence, socialization, and skill development.
• Provide supervision and ensure safety at all times.
• Document services accurately and timely in HHAeXchange (EVV).
• Communicate effectively with families and office staff.
