Job summary

Maximum Care, Inc. is seeking a Direct Care Worker to support elderly and disabled participants in the Lehigh Valley. You will provide in-home assistance, light housekeeping, transportation, meal prep, and personal care with dignity and compassion.

Flexible schedules available; part-time or full-time; training and face-to-face via Zoom. We offer competitive pay up to $19 per hour, bonuses, and a culture that promotes diversity, inclusion, and equity.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Provide light housekeeping, run errands, or provide transportation if needed.
• Accompany clients to appointments and assist/reminders with medications.
• Prepare meals, purchase food and provide personal assistance with activities of daily living.
• Provide companionship and conversation to support client well-being.
