Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine, with a mix of driving and on-foot delivery across your round.

Applicants must hold a full, manual UK driving licence with minimal points, be physically fit to walk long distances, and be adaptable to varying shifts. A driving assessment is required on start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be a team player and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your community.
• Drive your round and occasionally deliver on foot.
• Ensure safe and timely delivery of all items on route.
