Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Diabetes and Endocrinology in Nashua, NH seeks a Medical Assistant to participate in professional nursing care under supervision. You will assist providers and nurses, perform medications, immunizations, point‑of‑care testing, and specimen handling as appropriate.

Strong communication with patients is essential. Requirements include a high school diploma or MA program completion, BLS/CPR, and ideally one year of healthcare setting experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program or 3 years MA experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in patient care in person, by phone screening, and via telehealth under supervision.
• Administers prescribed medications, treatments and immunizations, and collects specimens within scope of practice.
• Collects health information from patients and communicates findings to providers.
• Communicates care instructions and plan of care to patients.
• Documents care activities in the medical record with accuracy.
