Job summary

Will County ROE is seeking a Substitute Custodian to perform general maintenance and cleaning on day and evening shifts at the Beecher area. The role requires reliable work ethic and safety orientation; prior experience is nice but not required, and a driver's license is preferred for site access.

Applicants must be able to pass a background check and physical. Salary starts at $16.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience is desired, but not required; note years of experience on resume.
• Driver's license preferred for site access.
• Applicant must pass criminal background check and physical.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance as required.
• Clean restrooms and/or showers, including stocking bathroom supplies.
• Empty waste and other materials into proper containers.
• Clean floors and stairs with designated chemicals, supplies and equipment.
• Clean glass (windows, mirrors) and maintain lighting.
• Straighten and return furniture after cleaning.
• Dust and clean surfaces including walls, fixtures, and vents.
• Return cleaning cart to designated area and restock supplies.
• Transport and position cart securely; buff, polish, and strip floors.
