Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment is recruiting a Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services at a Flint, Michigan hospital. The role features 2–3 shifts per week with 10- and 12-hour options, weekend coverage, no call, and Cerner EMR support.

Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia assessments, anesthesia care plans under physician supervision, intraoperative monitoring, airway management, and post-anesthesia recovery. Pediatric cases are not included.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan CRNA license.
• NBCRNA certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• AANA membership or credentialing required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for surgical patients.
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and review medical histories.
• Develop and implement anesthesia care plans under physician supervision.
• Monitor patients during anesthesia and surgery.
• Manage airway, vital signs, and anesthesia-related needs.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor recovery.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nurses.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical protocols.
