Job summary

Caring Hands Home Health Inc. in Greensboro, NC is seeking a flexible, dependable Floater to provide hands-on caregiving and assist with activities of daily living across multiple client homes.

The role requires performing ADLs, mobility, transfers, and bed baths, with a focus on client safety and continuity of care. The position is full-time, Thursday–Monday, 8AM–6PM, with a strong emphasis on reliability, professionalism, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• CNA preferred; PCA with experience considered (minimum 6 months of hands-on caregiving).
• Must have reliable transportation to travel between multiple client homes daily.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and assist with transfers.
• Must work Thursday–Monday, 8AM–6PM, with schedule flexibility.
• English proficiency for documentation; bilingual Spanish encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, transfers).
• Safely support client mobility with wheelchairs, walkers, and other equipment.
• Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
• Offer medication reminders (no administration).
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, errands, grocery shopping, and meal prep.
• Follow individualized care plans and agency policies.
• Observe, document, and report changes in client condition.
• Travel between multiple clients across assigned areas.
• Maintain professionalism, reliability, and strong communication with the office.
• This is NOT companionship - hands-on care is required.
