Job summary

Griswold Home Care of Raleigh is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA to provide companionship and caregiving to seniors in Raleigh, NC. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, with weekly paydays and access to ongoing training.

You will assist with daily tasks, light housekeeping, meals, and transportation support while maintaining dignity and compassion. Strong communication and reliability are essential for success in this caregiver position.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current TB test or willingness to obtain one.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional.
• Ability to remain attentive and engaged during a 12-hour shift.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Griswold team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily tasks including light housekeeping, meals, and grocery shopping.
• Provide caregiving services to clients with cognitive impairments or dementia.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, and personal hygiene while maintaining dignity.
• Keep a log of duties and submit accurate documentation to ensure consistent care.
• Provide timely updates to the office regarding client needs.
• Demonstrate reliability and compassion to support seniors’ quality of life.
