Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Operative to provide safe, clean environments in our customers’ workspaces. You will perform tasks such as tidying, vacuuming, sweeping and waste disposal, while upholding health and safety records.

You must have Right to Work in the UK and a smartphone to clock in using Timegate. Full training is provided and attention to detail is essential to deliver high-quality cleaning across sites.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK is required.
• Smartphone required to use Timegate Time and Attendance system.
• Cleaning background advantageous; but full training provided.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Tidying up work areas, cleaning floors and communal areas.
• Hands-on physical tasks that can require standing for periods (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, emptying bins).
• Assist customers in open, public spaces with queries related to cleaning or incidents.
• Complete Health & Safety records and attend training courses when needed.
