Job summary

Jovie of Chicago is seeking reliable babysitters for daytime shifts across multiple Illinois suburbs. Join a purpose‑driven childcare community with flexible part‑time or full‑time options, where you’re supported by a dedicated management team and paid as a W2 employee.

Caring for children from 6 weeks to 13 years, you’ll create engaging activities, maintain a safe environment, assist with light cleanup, and collaborate with diverse families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior childcare experience (infant experience preferred).
• At least 1 full weekday available Monday-Friday.
• Driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain — we help!).

Responsibilities

• Caring for children ages 6 weeks to 13 years (based on your experience).
• Creating fun, engaging activities – crafts, games, and imaginative play.
• Ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
• Helping with light clean‑up after meals and playtime.
• Working with a variety of families — no two days are the same!
