Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a cashier to provide a fast, friendly, and efficient checkout experience, helping customers at the register and in self-checkout. You may assist with payments, exchanges, stocking, and other duties to ensure customers leave satisfied.

The role supports team efforts and adapts to a fast-paced environment at Lowe's stores. Part-time or full-time opportunities are available, with emphasis on customer service and accuracy in transactions.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions.
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
