Job summary

Kapnick Insurance Group seeks Biometric Screening Technician Independent Contractors to conduct biometric health screenings at events across Michigan. You will travel to pre-determined sites, perform venipuncture, blood pressure, and body composition assessments while ensuring accuracy, privacy, and customer satisfaction.

This is an independent contractor role with flexible hours and location options, requiring high integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Certified Phlebotomist with current state certification or CMA/RN/LVN/EMT equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year demonstrated health screening experience.
• Minimum of 100 successful sticks in past 6 months.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Willing and able to travel to regional screening events.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must have Stethoscope and Centrifuge.

Responsibilities

• Perform biometric assessments and screening tests, including venipuncture blood drawing, blood pressure and body composition analyses.
• Assist with screening event activities by setting up sites and organizing materials.
• Ensure privacy and confidentiality of participants and health information.
• Travel to regional screening events.
• Pre-site screening visits.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable policies and procedures.
• Present professionally in demeanor and appearance.
• Take accurate height, weight and body measurements.
• Demonstrate strong medical terminology knowledge.
• Schedule may be self-determined with flexible hours and locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
