DCP Tour in Washington, DC is seeking a Portuguese/English bilingual Tour Guide & Storyteller for seasonal, on-demand opportunities. Help visitors discover DC history, culture, and landmarks through engaging tours, which may be walking or private car experiences. This role emphasizes flexible scheduling and strong storytelling.

Hours vary by reservations, with 8–32 hours per week typical, weekend availability required, and training provided to deliver high-quality guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Portuguese and English; Spanish a plus.
• Excellent communication and public-speaking skills.
• Friendly, professional, reliable, and comfortable working with diverse audiences.
• Passion for history, culture, tourism, or storytelling.
• Comfortable walking approximately 2 miles per tour and working outdoors in different weather conditions.
• Experience in guiding, hospitality, education, theater, history, or public-speaking is a plus.
• A valid driver's license is preferred, especially for private car-tour assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead walking tours or private car tours in Washington, DC.
