Job summary

Positive Behavior Supports Corp. in Sylva, North Carolina, is hiring Entry Level Behavior Assistants for part-time positions with potential growth to full-time. Responsibilities include working directly with children with autism, implementing treatment plans, and tracking client progress.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally if required.
• Ability to actively engage clients during sessions, go from sitting to standing unassisted.
• Experience in ABA therapy, childcare, education, or related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children with autism using ABA strategies under supervision.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and record data to track client progress.

Skills

Experience in ABA therapy

Reliable transportation

Ability to engage clients actively

Strength to lift up to 50lbs

Education

High school diploma (Bachelor’s in Psychology preferred)
