Job summary

Supreme Search Specialists in Plano, TX, seeks an Associate Veterinarian to provide high-quality care for dogs and cats in an AAHA-accredited small animal hospital. Flexible schedule with full-time preferred, 8- or 10-hour shifts to support work-life balance.

Competitive salary ($145,000–$165,000) with sign-on, relocation, longevity bonuses, and a strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), CE allowance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited university or equivalent veterinary qualification.
• Texas veterinary licence in good standing or ability to obtain licensure.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care to canine and feline patients.
• Perform routine wellness and preventative healthcare examinations.
• Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries.
• Manage routine through to more involved medical cases.
• Develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans.
• Utilise digital radiography and other diagnostic resources.
• Incorporate cold laser therapy where clinically appropriate.
• Perform appropriate medical and surgical procedures.
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment plans.
• Educate clients regarding preventative healthcare and treatment options.
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and their pets.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient medical records.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and the wider clinical support team.
• Contribute to a culture of continued learning and professional development.
• Maintain high standards of veterinary medicine and ethics.
