Responsibilities
Examining patients' teeth and gums to diagnose and treat various oral health issues.
Utilizing X-rays and computer-generated imaging to assist with examinations.
Providing dental treatments including routine cleanings, extractions, fillings, cavity treatments, whitening, bonding, and applications of crowns.
Administering local anesthesia as needed.
Educating patients on good oral hygiene and aftercare following procedures.
Performing oral cancer screenings.
Prescribing antibiotics and pain medications when required.
Ensuring proper sterilization of instruments and equipment.
Taking impressions for customized mouthguards and dentures.
