Job summary

Milestone Treatment Center is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) for behavioral health. The role involves direct psychiatric care, medication management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and mental health goals.

The APN will conduct evaluations, manage medications, and contribute to treatment planning in an in-person setting, with flexible hourly/per diem scheduling to accommodate clients with complex behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited advanced practice nursing program.
• Current, unrestricted APN license for the state of practice.
• National board certification appropriate to specialty and scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and clinical assessments.
• Provide ongoing medication management for clients in behavioral health treatment.
• Prescribe psychotropic medications in accordance with regulations.
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans with the clinical team.
• Maintain thorough clinical documentation and medical records.
• Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and nursing staff to ensure coordinated care.
