Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current state license in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC from ASHA required or eligible.
• Experience with patients of all ages, SNF setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Provide therapy sessions using a variety of techniques and tools.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
