Job summary

Care Planning Institute is seeking a Personal Care Aide to assist an elderly male Veteran at his home in Larkspur, CA. The role focuses on bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to help him stay independent.

The position is long-term, 10-20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule. Compensation is $29 per hour total ($25 base + $4 bonus) for shifts kept as agreed, and employment is on a W-2 basis.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver is required.
• We can train on the specifics of the job.
• Background check will be performed.
• TB skin test required if not completed in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist elderly client with bathing, dressing, grooming and walking.
• Help the client stay independent at home.
• Follow the agreed schedule and report any changes to care plan.
