Sentara Therapy Center Port Warwick in Newport News, VA seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant for a flexi/PRN role providing coverage across four outpatient therapy centers in Hampton, Newport News and Yorktown. You will administer treatments under a PT, support plan development, document progress, educate patients and supervise care by team members.

Requires an Associate degree in PTA and BLS certification.

City/State Hampton, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: We are hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant at Sentara Therapy Center Port Warwick in Newport News, Virginia. This is a flexi/PRN role that will provide treatment coverage at 4 outpatient therapy centers in Hampton, Newport News and Yorktown.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant with Sentara, you will administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist. May assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist. Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Education:

Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)

Certification:

Compensation:

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $32.18 - $47.43 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
