Job summary

Sunstates Security in Hanson, KY is hiring Flex Unarmed Security Officers to join one of the nation’s leading security teams. All days and shifts are available, with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Good customer service skills and professional appearance.
• Previous security, law enforcement, and/or military experience preferred.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by remaining alert, vigilant, and proactive throughout each shift.
• Monitor and control access at designated entry points, ensuring only authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors enter the facility.
• Challenge and verify the identity of individuals not displaying proper company-issued identification badges.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies, security incidents, and policy violations while following established procedures and escalation protocols.
• Immediately report critical incidents, suspicious activity, safety concerns, and security breaches to management and emergency authorities as required.
• Complete accurate and detailed incident reports, documenting all relevant information including names, dates, times, locations, witnesses, and event details.
• Maintain detailed shift logs and record notable activities, observations, and security-related issues throughout each shift.
• Conduct routine monitoring of facility operations, including parking areas, access control systems, security equipment, cameras, and other security infrastructure.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally, courteously, and respectfully with employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors while enforcing site policies.
• Follow all company policies, post orders, and security procedures while working independently and exercising sound judgment in all situations.
