Job summary

Penske is seeking Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average annual pay is $100,000 with additional incentives up to $10,400. Hazmat endorsement required upon hire and layovers may be part of the schedule.

You will perform multi-stop deliveries to automotive dealerships, unload cargo, and log deliveries with a scanner. Late-model Penske trucks and strong benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years.
• DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries to automotive dealerships.
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages.
• Use scanner to log products as they are unloaded and delivered.

What you will do:

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered

Schedule:

• Dispatch time ranges between 4PM to 8 PM
• Schedule: Friday through Wednesday
• Average 60 to 65 hours per week
• Layovers required

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske maintained trucks

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
