Job summary

Penske Logistics, a nationwide logistics leader, is seeking full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers for Fort Worth, TX. You will travel regionally to work at Penske locations, performing multi-stop deliveries of parts to automotive dealerships and unloading freight by hand.

Overnight travel during the week with home time typically on weekends. Eligibility includes a valid Class A CDL, DOT medical card, and English proficiency; 1–2 years of tractor-trailer experience and a clean DMV/MVR record are

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required; located in the U.S. and licensed in home state.
• DOT medical card current or ability to obtain.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5.
• DMV/MVR 3 years with two or fewer violations/accidents.
• English language proficiency is required by federal law.

Responsibilities

• Travel regionally to work at various Penske locations as needed.
• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts to automotive dealerships.
• Unload freight by hand and scan products as unloaded/delivered.

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers

• Average W2 $117000
• 5 day work week
• Weekends off
• Additional performance incentives available, up to $10400 annually

What you will do:

• This position requires the driver to travel regionally to work at various locations as needed
• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
• Unload freight by hand
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered

Schedule:

• Dispatch times will vary depending on work assignment
• Drivers will travel to assigned location, and work from there for duration of work assignment
• Overnight travel during the week, with home time typically on weekends

  Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
  • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
  • This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
