Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Patrol Deployment in Sacramento, CA. The role offers 30-40 hours per week with a pay rate of $21.49 per hour.

Shifts and locations vary, with self-scheduling through our Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program, and assignments change regularly to fit client needs. This position provides hands-on security experience across healthcare, education, finance, retail and more, with opportunities for advancement within Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be flexible to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Must be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Must be able to travel the required distance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background checks and drug screening as per law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensures that removal is conducted within client requirements.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs as required.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders.
