Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve clients across healthcare, education, finance, and more. You’ll use our shift-pickup platform to view and claim shifts, building a schedule that fits your availability while gaining hands-on site experience.

The role includes patrols, incident response, and assisting staff and visitors. Fridays 8a-4p at $24.89 per hour; no prior experience required, but valid license and background/drug checks apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 5 years verifiable experience
• Valid driver's license if operating company or customer vehicles
• Background check and drug screen as required by law
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed)
• Ability to operate radio/console and communicate effectively
• Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments
• Attention to detail and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department as needed
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances and exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect property and ensure proper conduct
• Investigate incidents; maintain logs and write reports as required by post
• Assist customers, employees and visitors in a courteous, professional manner
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders
